What Polish People eat during Christmas period??
Sauerkraut. is known as Kiszona Kapusta. Preparations including sauerkraut include soups and stews, such as Bigos and Kapusniak (sauerkraut soup) or; filled Dumplings (Pierogi); and seasoned kapusta served as a hot vegetable side dish.

Rolmopsy. Herring fillets are cut into strips. Five or six grains of mustard seeds are tightly wrapped together with a slice of Polish pickle and carrot in the herring pieces.

Fried fish. Traditionally, they serve carp, Pieces of fish or fillets are covered with flour then fried in hot oil.

Bigos. This delicious hunter's stew, prepared with saurkraut, cabbage, mushrooms and spices.

Clear borscht with dumplings. Beets are very slowly boiled in water until soft, then removed from the liquid.
